got a five-miler in early saturday morning before heading downtown for the 1st annual bricks and spokes bicycle ride. it was 55 degrees when i got to mission primary. i dont have any technical long sleeve shirts, so i had to settle for long cotton sleeves, which was fine until i started sweating....note to self, get a tech long sleeve shirt before saturday.
i was expecting to ride in the sun, but forgot about the bluffs on business 61. the pavement probbaly doesnt see direct sunshine until about 10:00. it was kinda chilly, butr otherwise beautiful weather. first time in my adult life doing ten mile son a bicycle. im looking forward to doing it again next year...maybe even the 30 miler.
